Anna & Eve Swaddle Strap Arms. It's the one gimmicky thing marketed for sleep deprived parents I actually recommend. I do a very tight swaddle but Owen can still squirm out of it. The swaddle strap arms though have three pieces of velcro that so far at least he hasn't been able to get out of. You can't see it, but there are 2 more straps under the bigger straps that go under his arms to make sure the thing doesn't go over his head.

Owen is over 8 pounds. He's been gaining over an ounce a day which is quite good evidently.

He was good last night. His favorite place to sleep is on daddy's chest. Here's a picture from yesterday.

He made daddy get caught up on emails one handed Friday and Saturday

Miles is meeting Owen! On big slurp on Owen's face was how he greeted Owen. Owen just looked perplexed. No crying.

Owen wore his Christmas onsie yesterday. He's stinkin' cute!

First pediatrician visit today. She was impressed that he's almost gained back his birth weight already in just 6 days.

Owen Richard Jackson was born today! (November 28)

6 pounds 12 ounces.

We should be leaving the hospital soon. This is what Owen's going to wear home for the first time. Can you tell which of us picked the onsie for this trip

Jon said "I went into this thinking. Eh. Babies are cute but not as cute as puppies or kittens. Amazing how quickly my whole view of babies changed."
